Hi All,
Registrations are now open for our 2022 kick-off ASA WA Branch event. On Thursday, 10 March at 5:15pm, we will be hosting Gaia Resources, a national solution provider in the archives collection management space. Gaia has built systems for the State Records Office of Western Australia, Queensland State Archives and Public Records Office of Victoria. It has also been active in supplying solutions to smaller organizations such as colleges, university archives and historical societies.
Audience: This presentation is aimed at archivists and collection managers seeking to maintain knowledge and skill currency in archival management system building. It is also relevant to organizations contemplating acquiring a collection management system.
When: Thursday 10 March 2022
Time: 5:15 – 6:00 pm – Registration & Networking
6:00 – 6:45pm – Presentation: Guest Speaker – Piers Higgs, CEO Gaia Resources
Venue: National Archives of Australia, Western Australia Office, Ground Floor, William Square, 45 Francis Street, Northbridge
Note: Covid safety rules applicable at the time apply to this event, including the wearing of masks, vaccination certificates and capacity rules. If circumstances require, the event may also be offered concurrently online via Zoom.
