Community Learning Programs Coordinator
Full-time and Two Part-Time Opportunities Available!

About the role

Working within a close-knit team reporting to the Programming and Operations Lead, these roles will work collaboratively to coordinate the planning, development and delivery of library programs and projects. Embedded within the community development team, you will be responsible in understanding community need to foster community led solutions, strong partnerships and stakeholder networks to deliver learning opportunities that deliver positive social impact outcomes.  Be part of a library team with a difference - we now have a fulltime and two part-time opportunities available!

In this role, you will undertake duties such as:


*                Research and identification of gaps in service provision

*                Undertake community consultation to create innovative new programming guided by the Learning City Strategy

*                Measure and evaluate program outcomes

*                Build and strengthen positive relationships with partners and stakeholders

*                Train and mentor Library team members
Skills & Experience


*                Tertiary qualification in Librarianship, Community Development, Education or relevant field

*                Knowledge of community engagement and development principles

*                Experience in planning and delivery of community learning programs and events

*                Excellent technology and digital literacy

*                Ability to work in a dynamic team environment

*                Demonstrated experience in building and fostering positive stakeholder relationships

*                Full-time Role - Permanent - 76 hours per fortnight

*                Part-time Role 1 - Permanent - 64 hours per fortnight

*                Part-time Role 2 - Temporary, until January 2024 - 38 hours per fortnight
