Hello all

The City of Bayswater Library Service is looking for a suitable person to fill a fixed term full-time librarian’s position based at the Maylands Library.  The position is to replace an officer currently on leave.  The position will commence in mid-September and go through to mid-November 2021.  There is a possibility of an extension.

We are looking for someone with a curious mindset who are keen to introduce innovative activity programmes and services for adults and children.   The successful applicant will also be required to provide effective leadership to Library Officers in the absence of the Branch Librarian and support senior members of the Library Services team with the development and implementation of new initiatives.


The position attracts a salary of $83,414 per annum plus super.  The position’s roster will encompass evening and weekend work.
