About this position:
The City's Library and Heritage Services Branch is seeking an individual with proven performance in cataloguing and records maintenance in a library environment. The position is expected to ensure records comply with expected standards, and train other staff to the required standard.
You must have:
*        Possession of a tertiary qualification in Library or Information Management or equivalent.
*        Sound experience in a library services role.
*        Good knowledge of relevant cataloguing standards, metadata, marc tags, library classification systems and maintaining authority records.
*        Good analytical, verbal and written communication skills
*        Experience training library staff in tasks such as cataloguing and maintenance of library records
*        Ability to undertake multifaceted tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
Essential requirements: Current National Police clearance and class C driver's licence.
