Dear colleagues,
Join us for a free seminar at the National Archives of Australia’s WA Office.
Finding animals in the archives
Encounter the pets, the pests and the public service animals that can be found in the National Archives of Australia’s collection.
Encounter the pets, the pests and the public service animals that can be found in the National Archives of Australia’s collection.
Meet heroes like Horrie the war dog as we dig up stories of animals in military defence, dive into the scientific discoveries made on CSIRO whaling expeditions, and observe a menagerie of critters of all shapes and sizes in the National Archives’ photographic collections.
Before or after the seminar, take a look at the exhibition Wild West: animals in the archives.
