We now have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised Young People Services Librarian to join us on a temporary (until June 2022), full-time basis.
Impact the Community in a Big Way!
The role reports to the Manager Community Learning and will be responsible for coordinate, plan and deliver young people's learning programs and events with a focus on literacy and digital literacy.
In this role, you will undertake duties such as:

*                     Developing and delivering innovative programs for young people

*                     Coordinating the Junior Library work program

*                     Promotion of young people's library services
The successful applicant will enjoy:

*                     19 Day Month

*                     Gym Membership

*                     $77,090.74 - $86,435.76 per annum + 10.5% super
Applicants will have tertiary qualification in librarianship, at least 2 years' experience in a public library, confidence with modern technologies, strong communication skills and ability to work with young people, as well as ability to obtain a current satisfactory National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.  Our ideal applicant will have knowledge of children's and young people's reading development needs, strong coordination and mentorship skills as well as a great team focus!
