We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Hub Technician to join us on a temporary, full-time basis to commence in January 2021.
Learning Hub Technician
Impact the Community in a Big Way!
The role reports to the Team Leader Library and will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to the Canning Community and supporting the provision of library services through collection development, cataloguing services and maintenance of the Library Management System and supporting systems. The successful applicant will deliver innovative library services and programs and build effective relationships to positively contribute to the achievement of the outcomes of the Learning City Strategy.
* 12 month contract
* 19 Day Month
* $72,202 - $77,090 per annum + 10.5% super
Applicants will have a tertiary qualification in library technology recognised by ALIA, 3-5 years' experience in a similar role delivering excellence in customer service, applied knowledge of collection management practices and cataloguing, as well as a current satisfactory National Police Clearance. The right applicant for the role will advanced digital literacy skills in general and library specific technologies and knowledge of and experience in program and training delivery. They will enjoy working in a team setting and have the ability to provide strong team direction, supervision and leadership.
