Status:                     Permanent, Part Time Employment (0.79 FTE)



Salary range:          $62,636.39 to $65,832.34 per annum, pro rata

Opportunity:           The City of Albany’s Library team is looking for an experienced and customer focused individual to take up the role of Library Digital Services & Communications Officer.



Reporting to the Library Systems Coordinator, this role will see you responsible for, but not limited to:



·         Coordination and implementation of digital resources and tools, library programs & services, as well as administrative and technical support;

·         Supporting the strategic direction for the delivery of online library platforms, apps and emerging technologies;

·         Developing, implementing and enhancing the library’s communication channels including newsletter and social media platforms for Library customers;

·         Supporting the development, enhancement, promotion, delivery and maintenance of the Library’s online presence and electronic resource provision; and

·         Ensuring the provision of quality and timely customer service to Library customers;



About You:             Strong experience in IT systems, technology and online services, along with highly developed time management skills, excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed knowledge of computer hardware and software, are essential to this role.
