AMaGA Western Australia's Cultivate Network offers networking and professional development opportunities for people either starting out or wanting a mid-career change within the collections sector. We hold regular meet ups called 'Culture Chats' where we discuss industry relevant topics, and have organised gatherings at exhibition openings to help break those boundaries and create connections between industry professionals. Our next big event is a Speed Dating session where we will connect our 'Cultivators' with industry professionals who can offer insight into how to build careers, gain experience and develop skills.
The idea behind the event is to encourage cultivators to ask questions about professional growth, leadership, and upskilling and to find out more about careers within the collections sector. There will be a range of professionals who offer different experiences within the industry.
The event is being held on Thursday 19 March from 5.30pm to 7pm at Perth City Farm. Tickets are limited to ensure the best possible experience for attendees.
More details about the event and registration for tickets can be found on our Eventbrite page - https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/cultivate-speed-dating-with-collections-sector-professionals-tickets-94751575513<https://clicktime.symantec.com/3da43fFe65eMVueQdiwrnp7Vc?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.eventbrite.com.au%2Fe%2Fcultivate-speed-dating-with-collections-sector-professionals-tickets-94751575513>
I'd appreciate it if you could circulate this to anyone you believe would benefit or be interested in attending.
If you have any questions, please get in contact with me on 9431 8462.
