Venue: State Library of Western Australia, Great Southern Room
You are invited to the first Information Management Think Tank for 2020. RIMPA have joined forces with the Think Tank to present this free event. The theme of the session is: 20 years of the State Records Act and it is being hosted by the State Records Office.
As promised, this will be a massive Think Tank to get us all talking, sharing and buzzing!
Speakers include Damian Shepherd, Director of State Records WA. You’ll get the chance to ask the speakers questions, and there’s loads of interactive activities and discussion in this session.

* Introductions

The State Records Act: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
* Question time (the questions you submit during networking)
* Facilitated breakout sessions - BIG interactive activity!
Discussion points include:
* Our customers (Community and Government) - What legacy have we left our customers in 2020?
* Our environment - What does the day-to-day work of government look like in 2020? How will it use the information we are creating today, and information created by our predecessors?
* Our community in 2040 - What will the expectations of the WA community look like in 2040? What will the global community look like, and expect from us and information, in 2040?
