[MCASI Practicum Program]

Hello friends and classmates!



To be frank, your CURTIS guild club is in struggle town. We know we've been a little quiet lately and please know that we are trying to get back on track. However, we need your help to do so. At Curtin, guild clubs need to be renewed annually - and as the end of the year draws near, we realise that we do not meet the minimum requirements to justify our continued existence. In particular, a club must have a minimum of 30 members, and we do not have those types of numbers.



So basically, this email is a call out - if you see the worth in having a guild club dedicated to Libraries, Archives, Records and Information Science (LARIS) please contact us so we can make you a member! (what's even better is that it's a free club to join, so really you have nothing to lose, it'll only take 2 seconds! (; )



Also, you don't have to be in Perth to join up! Any Curtin student is welcome to join, we have a Facebook page which we use to post up interesting and relevant articles and links - and really, we just hope to be a tool through which all of us at LARIS can be in contact with each other.



We have recently changed the membership fee - so if you have joined this year please reach out to us so we can refund you.



And, if you do become a member - we would also really appreciate some feedback on what you want from us, so we can actually go do it. We are here to serve you after all.



 We hope semester is treating you well, and if it's not we hope it chills out soon (we really hope it chills out soon (; )
