Hello,

The City of Canning has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Hub Officer to join us on a permanent, part time (38 hours per fortnight) basis, at out Riverton, Cannington, Willetton and Bentley Libraries and Hubs.
Impact the Community in a Big Way!
The role will report to the Team Leader at each library and will be responsible for building effective relationships and delivering an outstanding level of customer service to the Canning community. The successful applicant will effectively support the provision of library services and deliver innovative programs to encourage community learning in line with the Learning City Strategy. The shifts will be scheduled as per library roster each four weeks, and will include evening and weekend shifts each week.

*                  Part time opportunity (38 hours per fortnight)

*                  Gym memberships

*                  $62,495 to $72,202 per annum pro rata + 10.5% super


Applicants will have outstanding customer experience skills, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a customer focussed role, ideally within a library or learning environment with experience in delivering programs to enhance community literacy. They will also have a current Working with Children Check and current satisfactory National Police Clearance, with the ability to work across a 7 day per week changing roster at different locations, including evenings and weekends. They will have the desire to be a collaborative and positive team member committed to contributing to team goals, and they will develop and maintain positive workplace relationships with customers and other stakeholders. The successful applicant will have exceptional time management skills to prioritise customers while still completing library operations tasks, have strong technological and digital literacy skills with a focus on library specific technologies and Microsoft Office products, and have an excellent work ethic.
