[MCASIlaris] Prac placement opportunity at the State Library Victoria

[MCASI Practicum Program]

Dear students

If you are studying the GDILS or the MIM and interested in a library placement with the State Library of Victoria could you come back to me ASAP* expressing interest. You MUST be able to attend during either of the time frames listed below and please let me know which one (or rank if you could attend both) when you express your interest to me:
The State Library Victoria Industry Placement program dates for 2019 are as follows
 *         Monday 17 June - Friday 5 July

*         Monday 11 - Friday 29 November
Please ensure the student is aware these dates are fixed around our operational demands and so cannot be altered.
Working With Children Check required
In accordance with Victorian Government legislation,  State Library Victoria has implemented Child Safe Standards policy and procedures as of 1/1/2018.  As part of this initiative, all staff, contractors and volunteers onsite must have a valid WWCC.  This does include Industry Placement students.
