Dear HIVE Collaborator,

The HIVE has completed the process of recruiting projects for the 2018 round of HIVE internships and we are now ready to accept applications from interested Curtin students.

The HIVE Summer Internship Program provides an opportunity for motivated students to gain valuable research project experience in visualisation related topics during a paid summer internship. Interns are supervised by leading researchers and undertake challenging research projects utilising the high-tech resources provided by the Curtin HIVE. Selected students will receive $7,000 over 10 weeks to work on interesting and innovative visualisation related research projects. At the end of the internship students will present their work in the HIVE and prepare a report.

Interested students should:

  1.  Review the internship overview and look at the projects on offer available via this link: https://cloudstor.aarnet.edu.au/plus/s/Cp6RlaqKuEV5SHo
  2.  Complete the "HIVE Internships Student Application Form"
  3.  Lodge the completed form and appropriate documents to HIVE at curtin.edu.au<mailto:HIVE at curtin.edu.au> by the 31st of October 2018.
  4.  If you know of other current Curtin students who may be interested please send them a copy of this announcement.

Key Dates:

  *   31st of October                  - Student Applications Due
  *   13th of November            - Students notified of results of project allocations
  *   26th of November            - Internships start (HIVE induction day)
  *   15th of February                - Project presentations
