[MCASIlaris] Why are you subscribed to this email list and what about the HUM-DIS list?

Hi,

The Department of Information Studies is now the Discipline area of LARIS – Libraries, Archives, Records and Information Science. Curtin replaced Departments with Discipline Areas at the end of last year.

We changed the name of our emailing list to match our new name. If you subscribed to the old HUM-DIS list, then you have been automatically subscribed to this MCASILARIS list.  (The “MCASI” bit stands for School of “Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry”).

It is still designed for LARIS staff and students to share updates about events, practicum information, job opportunities and similar discussions of interest to the discipline area.

You will receive an automated email with information about your login details for the list every month, but it is useful to keep the information below on hand in case you want to unsubscribe or check the archives.
