[MCASIlaris] FW: Casual and voluntary work opportunities

Dear students

Please see below for a casual pool opportunity with City of Kwinana, as well as information about volunteering.

In speaking to Colleen Williams, the A/Manager of Library Services at the City of Kwinana, please note that pool applicants are only considered when the need arises, so you may not hear back. Please remember to reapply every three months as that is how long your application sits in the pool. Please tailor your application. There are different opportunities being considered for volunteers so please follow the instructions below. Both are potential opportunities to gain experience and invaluable insight, to network and to enrich your resume.

Kwinana Public Library often needs casual staff and we are starting to look into the possibility of making use of volunteers for some of our activities/services. If any of your Library students live locally to us and are interested in putting in an expression of interest for either casual work or voluntary work at the library, I feel that this could be beneficial for all involved. Those interested in casual work should apply at https://www.kwinana.wa.gov.au/our-city/careers/Pages/default.aspx. Those looking for volunteer work should fill in an application form and preferably call in at our Volunteer Resource Centre to meet with our Volunteer Coordinator.
