[MCASIlaris] Reminder: RSVP for on campus welcome to semester Wed 5 Sept

Hi,

ALL Libraries, Archives, Records and Information Science (LARIS) students (OUA, Curtin, internal, online, Undergraduate, Postgraduate) and staff (tutors, markers, unit coordinators) are invited to a face-to-face welcome to study period get-together for Semester 2/SP3.

The event is an opportunity for you to meet some of the Curtin LARIS staff, your course coordinators (postgrad & undergrad) and fellow students. Representatives from the professional associations that accredit our degree will be there and you will have a chance to ask our prac coordinator about prac matters, and discuss your study plan … and just chat about interesting things with fellow students…

Students who did a “team prac” at Murdoch University in their Special Collections will show their promotional movie they created and talk a bit about the process of making it. Jobelle Magno will also talk briefly about the project she completed at the University of Melbourne.

Come down and meet members of the Curtin Information Studies Club (CURTIS). CURTIS will be there to promote the club and take on new members.

WHERE: Building 216 room 117 'Engineering building' - Curtin University, Bentley Campus

WHEN: Wednesday 5th September 12.15pm – 1:30pm.
