<p class="MsoPlainText">Band 6 ($81,795-$88.622pa) + 9.5% super + ADO Maribyrnong City Council's Information Technology Services Department is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Information Management Specialist. This position takes a senior role
in the delivery of an effective and efficient information management service to the whole of Council to ensure the security and integrity of Council records.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">This position requires an applicant to have a high standard of customer service and an ability to communicate effectively with all staff to implement change and improve information management processes. As a member of the Information
Management team, the position is required to carry out record management duties and provide specialist system administration support and training.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">The Information Management Specialist will contribute to the implementation of Council's Information Management Strategy and compliance requirements. The position will assist with the provision of high level records management policy
and procedure advice, assist in the support of HP TRIM system administration and system upgrade, and provide quality assurance and user support.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">You will possess a comprehensive working knowledge of the Public Records Act 1973 and PROV standards, having recent experience working with policies relating to public recordkeeping. As an information management specialist, you will
have sound understanding and experience in the use of technology, particularly electronic records and document management system.<o:p></o:p></p>
