Hello you!

Are you an undergraduate or postgraduate Library Information Studies student?

Would you like to network with fellow students?

Are you free once a month on a Saturday morning?

Then CURTIS - Curtin Information Studies Group is for you!

We have been meeting informally for the past year and are now thinking its about time we registered with the Curtin Student Guild.

Our past meetings have included guest speakers, presentations by fellow students, visits to other University Libraries and general networking and information sharing.

Generally we have an 'information' session on a particular topic followed by a coffee and general chat. It's all very informal and relaxed!

Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday May 2nd at 11am at the Curtin University Library.

The presentation will be based a recent student prac experience at the State Library of WA and the implementation of the Better Beginnings Early Literacy Program.

If you are interested in coming along, please get in touch at s.dewar@postgrad.curtin.edu.au
