<p class="MsoNormal">Both the Library Board of Western Australia Award for Excellence and the Kay Poustie OAM Scholarship open for entry Friday 7 February 2014.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Library Board of Western Australia Award for Excellence is intended to recognize a particular service, event, program, piece of research or partnership completed within the last two years by any person, library or organization in Western

<p class="MsoNormal">The winner will receive $5,000 prize money.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Kay Poustie OAM Scholarship provides a travel grant of up to $8,000 for a professional library practitioner wishing to extend their knowledge and research international library practice models that will benefit the Western Australian
public library network. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Sponsored by Curtin University and the generosity of donors to the State Library of Western Australian Foundation, the Kay Poustie OAM Scholarship is delivered in partnership with Public Libraries of Western Australia.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Both awards are a valuable opportunity for library practitioners to receive recognition for their achievements in the field of library practice. The winners will be announced at an event at the State Library of Western Australia in May
