In pursuit of his passion Marcus co-founded the Bright Sparks Lab and the Perth Startup School, resource aimed at sharing skills and knowledge across the local startup community.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;text-align:justify">
<span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">While much of Marcus' current endeavours are focussed on startups and innovation in software development he has worked as an IT Director and information management consultant. He has also developed
software solutions for the Finance, Distribution and Resources industries, primarily dealing with Document and Records management, but also line of business solutions.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">At present Marcus is completing an MBA as a foundation for a holistic approach to building products which are driven by and satisfy the user experience through sound technological constructs and
practical business processes. He was awarded the <i>Outstanding MBA Student</i> 2013 by the Graduate Management Association of Australia.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
