<div>Sherman Young is author of <i>The book is dead, long live the book. </i>I heard him speak a couple of years ago and found him very clear headed and logical, with a rather wide-ranging perspective that took in the history as well as the future of the book
and reading.</div>

<div>James Lush (from ABC Perth), Grant Stone (cultural historian and incredibly interesting and knowledgable librarian) and myself will be part of a panel discussion after Sherman has spoken.</div>
