been offered in both semesters in 2011 in our degree courses can only now be
completed in their main semester. This could affect a few students who might
have completed their studies in first semester 2011. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

color:#1F497D'>Our Department has resisted the non offering of units with low
enrolment for many years, and the University has finally caught up with
us. We are no longer permitted to offer units with low
enrolment numbers and our “options” and “off semester
units” are included in this category. We have been very
accommodating in how we have managed the enrolments for a student body
with a large number of variants in enrolment. It would not matter
when we decided to enact the change (and now we have no choice), there would
always be </span><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";
color:#1F497D'>a few s</span><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";
color:#1F497D'>tudents who would be affected because of the variations and
unpredictability in our student body’s enrolments.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";
color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p>

students (and this is a short term issue) can undertake the units via O</span><span

style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>U</span><span
style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>niversity

color:#1F497D'>A</span><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";
color:#1F497D'>ustralia (OUA) in 2011</span><span style='font-size:11.0pt;

color:#1F497D'>unit has been completed, the credit, if passed, can be brought

color:#1F497D'>degree programme. Other areas within the University are
not so lucky to be able to offer this course of action. This is a way

color:#1F497D'>f you wish to complete your degree in semester 1, 2011.
