I am looking for submissions for short (800 words) articles
for Energise>Enthuse>Inspire, the monthly new graduates column in ALIA's
member magazine inCite.

Writing for Energise>Enthuse>Inspire is an easy and fun way to contribute
to your profession, will gain you points in the ALIA PD Scheme (type of
activity - Publications (non-refereed), 1 point per hour up to 10 points per
year), and get your name and photo in print.

December's issue focusses on regional and rural libraries. I am seeking
submissions from new graduates working in regional and rural areas, whether you
moved there for work or found work in your local region. Topics could include
overcoming isolation, creating programs specialised for your area, creating
professional development opportunities in regional libraries. The deadline is
23 October.

Please contact me directly off-list if you are interested in writing an article
on any of the above topics, or if you have another topic you would like to
write on. Ideas for articles can be discussed with me, and I can provide
support and editing assistance.

Cheers
