message once more because of the positive reaction from my class this morning.
Why? I did explain, when asked, that ISSA is the association for currently
enrolled students; an opportunity to network, moan, laugh, help each other, and
socialise. To talk to each other about issues you might be having with your
studies, and life in general, to set up a mediation process if an issue arises
that requires it, and most importantly: to NETWORK. I see evidence of the
networking already when students who live in different states, recognise each
other’s names, in my units and are happy to see a familiar name again.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>I have been encouraged that of
the membership interest forms that have tricked in since my message below, some
are coming from students outside WA. This in itself lends itself to setting up
a Facebook or some such facility, to the reincarnation of the ISSA website (and
one student has volunteered to do this).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>So: LAST CALL. Please get your
forms in quickly, then I can send the email out connecting you all and you can

fax in their form”. External students can be involved electronically as
once ISSA is up and running, the ISSA group will establish some form of
e-communication with you. OR if you study externally, yet live in the
Perth environs and can make their meetings, then you will be most welcome.<o:p></o:p></p>
