Registrations for the New Norcia Library Lecture on September 7 close at the end of next week, so I urge you to send your registrations and payment soon. It is excellent value at $66 for adults, and $30 for students. Registration form below<BR>

The key speaker is Anne-Marie-Schwirtlich, who is the CEO of the State Library of Victoria, and she will speak of the new and exciting strategies that are being implemented in Victoria. It will be interesting to hear what she has to say in the light of the proposed structural reform of public libraries in WA.<BR>
<BR>
Our afternoon speakers have all made a great contribution to the library profession. Kerry Smith, from Curtin University's Dept of Media and Information, will speak about IFLA, Peter Green, from Curtin University Library, will speak about WAIN and other technologies, and Vicki Tkacz, from the Catholic Library of WA, will speak about keeping a small library relevant.<BR>
