[Hum-DIS] Prac opportunity in Canberra

Dear students

If you are based in Canberra and requiring a records and archives prac placement in the second half of 2018, well, what is now left of it, could you please let me know ASAP. If you have a prac requirement for the first half of 2018 please also make contact. Please express interest by Friday 8 September, 2017

A host has made contact about a potential records and archives placement with an independent, advisory organisation. This host is also a Curtin grad with a number of years' experience in various roles.

This opportunity would suit a first year with recordkeeping concepts and practice behind them, through to a third year or graduate level student, as the program can be tailored. The program would involve structured project work.

Timing would be through to the end of 2018 or first half of 2018 and the placement would be part time as the host works 30 hours per week.

The host, being a Curtin grad, understands very well the requirements of the placement and knowing this person, will be an excellent host and mentor.
