Curatorial Assistant

  *   Full Time
  *   Salary from $61,254 to $65,536 PA
The Wanneroo Regional Museum is located in the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre – the cultural hub of the northern corridor.   The Museum encourages exploration of the history of Wanneroo and thereby hopes to develop a deeper understanding of our community and create a sense of belonging.   The Museum offers opportunities for the community to engage with history through exhibitions, rich education programs, community events and community research opportunities.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to fill the position of Curatorial Assistant.

In this role you will assist the Curator with the management of the City’s museums and museum collection, and work with a dedicated team to ensure that the community is provided with opportunities to engage with the collection in a variety of means.

Highly developed organisational and communication skills along with qualification in Museum Studies or related discipline, or equivalent experience, are essential.  Experience in community museum operations would be an advantage.
