Salary range $62,502 - $75,601 p.a. plus superannuation
The City's Library is seeking a highly skilled and suitably qualified individual who has detailed knowledge of early childhood development, education and community development in local government.
This important position reports to the Team Leader, Community Connections and Learning and will require you to demonstrate your experience in resourcing, planning and delivering early childhood programs. You will bring flexibility to the role and be available to work on evenings and weekends as required.
The responsibilities of this position include:
* Develop and deliver programs for children and families.
* Develop program marketing.
* Foster relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Support the delivery of early childhood outreach programs.
* Provide leadership to early childhood program assistants.
* Identify, prepare and acquit grant and other funding opportunities.
Appointment to this position will be dependent on your success in a similar or related role, your demonstrated project management skills and your experience in supervising staff and volunteers. You will be tertiary qualified in early childhood education, librarianship, community development or the equivalent. Previous experience in the public library system will be well regarded.
