We are still looking for suitable candidates for this permanent part time position – so if you are interested or know someone who is then please pass it on ☺
IEA is working on behalf of a local government client to find an experienced and resourceful Records Officer for a Permanent Part Time Position (30.4 hours a week). Remuneration is commensurate with Local Government salary levels (pro rata)
The main duties of the position include the coordination of the records management system (Synergy) including correspondence capture and control; scanning, retention and disposal and file creation and closure.
Our client is looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
# Completion of formal job related training/qualifications – Cert IV or higher in Records Management;
# Prior experience in a similar role of at least 5 years;
# Prior experience with Synergysoft EDRMS;
# Demonstrated ability to initiate process/task improvements;
# Ability to work autonomously with no supervision;
# Strong understanding of Local Government recordkeeping requirements;
# Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including the State Records Act 2000;
# Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service;
# Ability to undertake repetitive tasks with a high level of precision; and
# Ability to problem solve, investigate issues and provide findings in a thorough manner;
