Deadline: 10am, Friday 10 March 2017
This is a great opportunity for an information studies student. Working with the Records Systems & Administration Coordinator, the intern will assess Sydney Living Museums (SLM) marketing material to develop a new process for recording & cataloguing the collection. The intern will work with both hard copy and digital files and will gain experience of applying the SLM Business Classification Scheme to title records into the electronic records management database TRIM. The student will work to establish metadata requirements to ensure compliance with the State Records Act.

Students wishing to apply should read the Project Outline (attached and on our website<http://sydneylivingmuseums.com.au/sites/default/files/Internship%20Project%20Outline%20-%20SLM%20-%20Semester%201%202017%20-%20Records%20Management%20-%20Museum%20Archive%20Consolidation%20-%20PDF.PDF>) and submit an application including ALL of the following by the deadline:

1.      A completed Student Information form (attached)

2.      Letter of interest, outlining why you are interested in the internship and why you would be best suited to the project. This is the main part of your application and it should address the 'project description' and 'skills required' sections of the Project Outline.

3.      CV including grades for completed units of study.
