[Hum-DIS] Dr Laura Millar - Curtin lecture

Dear students, and ex-students

As some of you may now already know, through the earlier announcement
on the Hum-Dis listserv, Dr Laura Millar, author of our highly
recommended text "Archives: principles and practices" will be at
Curtin following the ASA conference in Parramatta ( at which I'll also
be).

Dr Millar will be presenting to members of the ASA WA Branch on
Monday, 24th October, and will be meeting with members of the DIS
team, to discuss various similarities and differences between Canadian
and Australian archival practice. She will also be giving a lecture
for students, researchers and information services professionals on
the Canadian concept of Total Archives, on Tuesday 25th October, 12 -
1pm. It will be held in Building 202:Rm122, and I'm hoping that we can
record it too.
