Librarian - Children and Young People                                Ref. 21_17
Fixed term 12 month contract with full time hours
Salary range $61 127 - $73 938 per annum + super

The City of Fremantle is seeking an experienced and qualified professional to collaborate and partner with internal and external stakeholders in the development and implementation of a shared vision and improvement outcomes for child development, literacy and growth in the Fremantle community.

The role will see you initiate and evaluate plans and programs as well as coordinate and promote library and early literacy services for children and young people.

The successful applicant will have recent experience in engaging with and developing initiatives for early years and families, including those who have been difficult to engage.  You will have highly developed communication and research skills, excellent organisational and time management skills and practical experience in delivering library programs to children.  Tertiary qualification in librarianship or child education is essential.
