Apply your outstanding Library Technician skills and be part of a diverse and innovative University library team.

As a qualified Library Technician, you will work closely with clients by contributing to client access to information and/or assisting clients to access Library services and facilities. You will also organise information for client access; developing and maintaining the Library catalogue as well as access to licensed electronic resources thus maintaining accessibility of information.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with others to develop a quality service environment and maintain work effectiveness in a changing environment.

To be successful, you will have completed a relevant diploma with some relevant work experience and/or eligibility for Library Technician membership of the Australian Library and Information Association. Demonstrated knowledge of a range of scholarly information resources and the ability to access these resources and demonstrated knowledge of the processes required to obtain scholarly information resources (e.g. acquisitions) and to provide access to these resources (e.g. indexing, cataloguing) are essential.
