A mentor makes professional / study life easier no matter what career stage and can be a chance to give back as well as to receive support.

Students in a mentoring programme can help practitioners keep in touch with contemporary issues and technologies.

The International Librarians Network is run by a couple of Australian librarians, now with support from ALIA and ALA. You are matched up with a mentor according to your interests/ career stage / sector / preferences and correspond about suggested topics every couple of weeks for 4 months. Applications close on 14 Feb 2015.
