Please see below for information about the up and coming ALIA WA Symposium. Please save the date as you are most welcome to attend.

In fact, I have spoken to Andrew Kelly in his capacity as Convenor and he wholeheartedly encourages you to submit an abstract. Andrew is keen to have new voices being involved. ALIA WA will be running a session on abstracts soon too.

Andrew is more than happy for you to call him and discuss your idea/s.

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the ALIA WA Symposium 2016 which will take place on Friday 15 July 2016 at Curtin University.

This full day PD event is based on a flipped conference model but is targeted at all library workers in Western Australia. The theme is "The Unexpected."

We invite you to submit an abstract for a paper by Monday 28th March at aliainwa at gmail.com<mailto:aliainwa at gmail.com>. We would love to hear about:


*         An innovative programme you have developed and delivered

*         The results of your Masters or PhD research project

*         Issues facing the library industry as a whole

*         Unexpected learnings or outcomes from projects
