Shire of Capel Vacancy - Librarian

A new opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and skilled librarian to join our community services team in leading a customer focused, innovative public library service. In this role you will focus on the development and mentoring of Library Officers and implementation of a new Library Management System.  In addition you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of library programs and activities, archives room and reporting requirements.

To be successful in this role you will hold relevant qualifications to be eligible for professional membership to the Australian Library & Information Association, have proven leadership, coaching & IT skills and strong knowledge of library management systems.

This position is part time, 40 hours per fortnight, with flexibility over the days/hours per day worked. Your enthusiasm and leadership will be rewarded with a salary circa $65 - $68K p.a. pro rata, up to 14% superannuation, free parking, great team environment and a fantastic work-life balance.
