Subject: [WAIN] Cataloguing positions available at Westbooks

Westbooks is a major supplier of shelf ready materials to the State Library of Western Australia. We are looking for experienced cataloguers to supply records for these materials.
Duties involve both copy and original cataloguing to meet the required specifications of the client.

We are looking for individuals with highly developed cataloguing skills incorporating bibliographic searching, bibliographic description, subject analysis and classification. A sound understanding of AACR2, RDA, LCSH, DDC22 and MARC21 is vital in this role.

Good keyboard and data entry skills, attention to detail and accuracy are also essential.

The position would suit individuals looking for part-time or casual work. Flexible working hours are offered at our warehouse located at 119 Burswood Rd., Burswood.
