PLWA and ALIA put together a media release and letter to the Minister on Friday afternoon to challenge proposed cuts to the State Library of WA budget, which would seriously hurt, not only the Library itself, but also the state's 232 public libraries.

We are activating FAIR supporters to email the Minister but we need as many emails to go out as we can muster. This isn't a done deal - there is the possibility of making enough noise to mitigate the damage.
