Are you a qualified librarian seeking to provide specialist scholarly information and support to academic staff and research students?



As a Faculty Librarian, your role involves coordinating and providing specialist scholarly information, advice, training, research and educational support to academic staff and research students. Supporting an assigned faculty, the role actively contributes to the library’s collection development, using your knowledge of clients’ needs, and promoting the library’s innovative services and facilities.



To be successful, you need a professional qualification in librarianship, combined with considerable professional experience. Proven interpersonal skills, the ability to lead a team of library staff, extensive knowledge of scholarly resources, excellent information management and communication skills are essential.
