Subject: Reading Matters Professional Program - select student discount offer
Dear Pauline,
Centre for Youth Literature is offering exclusive discounted ticketing to Reading Matters 2015 Professional Program. Would you please forward this information to any appropriate students (outlined below).
Reading Matters is Australia’s biggest and brightest celebration of Young Adult literature, presented by the Centre for Youth Literature at State Library Victoria.
Now in its 11th iteration, Reading Matters brings together authors, illustrators and commentators to discuss, debate and deliberate books for young adults.
Central to the program is a 2-day professional development conference, held at the Arts Centre, Melbourne. Full price tickets to attend this event are $540, including admission to Word & Image from the V&A reception for authors and conference delegates.
Attending will be over 400 school and public librarians, teachers and respected youth literature professionals from around the world. We have scheduled a dynamic line-up of international and Australian authors<http://www.slv.vic.gov.au/node/729>, already sparking wide interest online and in the youth literature community.
We offer a limited number of conference concession tickets priced at $270, available to students across the following disciplines:
• Teacher Librarianship
• Library & Information studies
• Children’s Literature
Applicants must provide current enrolment confirmation.
Please contact Rebecca Anthony, Reading Matters Event Officer, to apply for this discount, with subject heading: Reading Matters Student Discount.
