Subject: [WAIN] Seeking volunteers for ALIA WA Symposium
Following on from the success of the last year's ALIA WA Symposium, we are
looking for enthusiastic volunteers with lots of ideas to be part of the 2015 Symposium Committee.
This is your opportunity to contribute to the planning and organization of a popular PD event.
Being a part of the 2015 committee will be a fun and valuable opportunity; gain new skills and help support a significant PD event for the WA library community. The Committee provides those new to the profession an opportunity to discuss ideas and for those who bring more experience a chance to share their knowledge. We are looking for those who can assist in the following roles:
Convenor
Deputy Convenor
Treasurer
Secretary
Speaker Liaison
Marketing and Social Media Coordinator
Venue and Catering Coordinator
For those of you who did not attend the 2014 Symposium, programme details are available
at https://aliawasymposium.wordpress.com/programme/
If you are interested in helping out, or simply finding out more information, please contact Tamara Capper at tamarageorgettecapper at gmail.com<mailto:tamarageorgettecapper at gmail.com> by the 27th February.
Regards,
Camille Peters
ALIAWest Convenor
