ASA WA branch event 5 March: ASA/ARANZ conference report back and Networking

The 2014 ASA/ARANZ Conference theme was Connecting: Past, Present and Future, and expressed the need for archivists to renegotiate and reinvent themselves.
The conference was held in Christchurch, New Zealand, a city rebuilding and reinventing after devastating earthquakes.

You are welcomed to this event - the first of the WA Branch for the 2015 year - to hear two of the conference speakers re-deliver their papers, Dr Pauline Joseph "Sustainability of community-based information practices", and Dr Mark Brogan "Trailblazer: Augmented reality, heritage and the curriculum"; plus other Conference attendees will describe the Christchurch experience, and you can make your own connections during networking and refreshments.

Date: Thursday 5 March 2015

Venue: South West Room, State Records Office of WA, Perth Cultural Centre.

Time: 4.15 to 4.45pm Networking and refreshments, 4.45 to 5.45 Conference papers, Q&A and discussion.
