Public Libraries Western Australia and the State Library of Western Australia are delighted to invite library staff to attend a day of presentations and workshops on aspects of librarianship. As part of the PLWA Biennial Conference http://www.plwaconference2015.org.au/   International and Local presenters will provide sessions aimed at professional development in the Library Industry.

The international speakers include Inge Lunden (Sweden), Corinne Hill (USA) and Rachel van Riel (UK). Inge will discuss aspects of challenges of partnership relationships followed by Corinne who will discuss fostering change and innovation within Libraries at the morning session. Rachel is presenting an afternoon workshop on customer centred library designs (numbers are limited for the workshop). Both sessions will cost $65.

SLWA are hosting "Showcasing Innovation in WA Libraries" during the afternoon. This FREE session provides an opportunity to enjoy presentations by local presenters including outreach, program development and delivery, technology development, and more. The speakers come from a wide variety of areas within, and related to, Libraries.
