Tour and talk of Mercy Heritage Centre, Perth

The WA branch of the ASA invites you to a site visit of the Mercy Heritage Centre, led by archivist and the Mercy Heritage Centre's Cultural Collections Curator,Annie Q. Medley.

Date: Tuesday 5 May 2015

Venue: 86 Victoria Square, Perth
Please note: Entrance is through 86 Victoria Square, not Goderich Street (the Centre's official address)

Time: 4.30pm to 6pm

"Built 1871 the Mercy Heritage Centre is a place that celebrates the life and stories of the Sisters of Mercy who came to Perth in 1846. If you have an interest in colonial Western Australian history, heritage buildings or religious congregations then a visit to the convent is well worth the effort".
