Digital Services Librarian

Are you an innovative, versatile, and tech-savvy librarian looking for a new and exciting role in public libraries?  Based at the Armadale Library, this position is ideal for a team player with proven skills to join our Library Management Team, helping to develop leading-edge services and engage new audiences.

The City's library service is fully RFID-enabled and offers a range of digital services to our customers, including 3D Printing. As a library service we constantly seek to embrace new and future technologies, therefore enthusiasm and the ability to be flexible with changing responsibilities and duties is essential. The City is currently reviewing its Library Management System and this role offers a rare opportunity to help lead a project of this scope. As the role is extensively involved with customer service, you will also need to be a people person, troubleshooting issues for library customers across the range of digital services.

The anticipated start date is January 2015. The position has a salary range of $74,417 to $84,666
