Cataloguers

Westbooks is a major supplier of materials to the State Library of Western Australia. We are looking for experienced cataloguers to create catalogue records.

Duties involve amending copy catalogue records and the creation of original catalogue records as required to accurately reflect the customer's requirements.

The key skills and qualities required are highly developed cataloguing skills incorporating bibliographic searching, bibliographic description, subject analysis and classification. A sound understanding of AACR2, RDA, LCSH, DDC22 and MARC21 is vital in this role. Good keyboard skills, attention to detail and accuracy are essential in this role.

Positions are casual/part-time. Hours are flexible.
