Hi Curtin students,

Once again we're on the lookout for volunteers interested in working at our very specialised Library. We're seeking approx. 4 new volunteer team members and will be adding all interested parties to a pool.

This is a great opportunity for tech-minded people interested in digital libraries and all the aspects related to them - ebooks, accessibility, copyright issues, alternative formats and producing audio books yourself.

We are the largest digital library in the world which caters solely for people with print disabilities, and we have the largest Braille Music collection in the southern hemisphere as well as having fully implemented RDA. Volunteers will be mainly working with me in digitising analogue audio, producing accessible books and documents to international standards, helping out with client requests, some work with our catalogue and in the stacks. Full training is provided and we can work around university timetables, flexible hours and etc.

Volunteers are required to attend at least one day a week, Monday to Friday.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested or have any questions.

Kind regards,
