City of Nedlands is seeking applicants for the following positions:

The City of Nedlands is seeking a pool of Librarians and Library Customer Service Officers on a casual basis.


Casual Librarian: Ref 3649
$37.70 − $43.78/hour (inclusive of casual loading)
Plus up to 11.25% superannuation (conditions apply)

The successful applicant will be required to provide professional support for the efficient operation of the library services. The position involves working between our Nedlands and Mt Claremont branches as required.

The applicant will possess relevant qualifications, experience in working in a public library and have a thorough knowledge of public library practices and procedures.


Casual Library Customer Service Officer: Ref 3648
$28.53 − $31.57/hour (inclusive of casual loading)
Plus up to 11.25% superannuation (conditions apply)


You will be the first point of contact providing a positive and friendly image of the City to the Community. Key responsibilities will include circulation desk tasks, inter-library loans, Books on Wheels, stock processing and shelving.

Good customer service skills as well as organisational and time management skills are required. Previous experience in a public library using AMLIB will be highly regarded.
