Position: Librarian (Casual)

The Library at Central Institute Of Technology is looking for Librarians to join them as casual employees initially.



Skills & Capabilities Required:

We require a team player with enthusiasm, confidence and the ability to engage students. Candidates with a teaching

background and in their final year preferred.

Duties and responsibilities:

•        Develop, deliver and promote the Library’s Study skills workshops.

•        Good presentation and facilitation skills to inspire and motivate students.

•        Provide direct learning assistance to students through individual and group consultations.

•        Develop and evaluate online and print resources to advance student learning of academic and information literacy skills.

•        Collect and analyse evaluation data and prepare reports of trends, patterns and issues with regard to the Library’s study skills program.



Hours: Casual hours during the day, Mon- Fri.



Location: Mostly at the Northbridge Campus.
